Eric Strickland ChFC, CFP Eric specializes in retirement planning, investment portfolio management and advanced life insurance strategies.
Eric is a Central New York native, and a graduate of Dickinson College, with a B.A. in Economics. He has been active in the insurance industry since 1992, and is insurance licensed for Property & Casualty, Life, Health, Long Term Care, and Annuities. He holds Series 6,63, and 7 securities licenses, which are active in numerous states. Additionally, he has earned the distinguished Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERtm (CFP) professional designations.
Eric served several terms on the board of directors of the CNY chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and has been active in the Estate Planning Council for both CNY and Melbourne FL. He has been a recipient of NAIFA's National Quality Award, qualified for the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table, Mass Mutual's Leaders Conference, as well as repeadedly qualifying for Cadaret Grant's Top Advisor Conferences.
He opened the Melbourne, FL location in 2008 and Eric and his wife, Michele split their time in between Central New York and Florida's Space Coast.
Items of personal interest include the fact that Eric served for five years in Central NY as a volunteer firefighter / first responder in response to the events of 9/11/01. Eric enjoys numerous outdoor activities including biking, hiking, volleyball, pickleball, shooting skeet / sporting clays, and boating. Eric & his wife Michele like to spend time touring the NY State's Finger Lakes, Adirondacks, and 1000 Island regions, as well as Florida's Space Coast beaches and Central Florida attractions.
